Omidyar Network Joins in the Launch of an Anti-Monopoly Fund

Omidyar Network invests in a $10 million Anti-Monopoly Fund, led by Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes, to support academic research, policy advocates, and grassroots groups working on antitrust matters.

Anamitra Deb, senior director of beneficial technology at Omidyar Network, tells the Washington Post why it was important to join the Economic Security Project, the Ford Foundation, the Open Society Foundations, Hewlett Foundation, Nathan Cummings Foundation, Knight Foundation, Way to Win, and Justice Catalyst in this important initiative.
