Kana is a product manager with the Tech and Society Solutions Lab at Omidyar Network.
Prior to joining the firm, Kana was the co-founder and executive director of YCore, a social impact bootcamp for young professionals. In this role, she mobilized 200 young professionals who delivered 10,000 hours to 40 Bay Area nonprofits through workshops and project partnerships. As a product manager at Shopkick from 2011 to 2016, Kana owned features that drove more than $1 billion in sales for major retailers and brands, and led the company’s first internationalization to Germany. Kana has participated in the Stanford StartX Accelerator program and is a 2018 winner of the Westly Prize for Young Innovators.
Kana holds a B.A. in comparative studies in race and ethnicity from Stanford University.
