As a program manager at Omidyar Network, McKenzie supports the firm’s efforts to accelerate the impact investing industry. She provides investment and portfolio management support to the Impact Investing team and aids thought leadership and strategic partnership efforts.
McKenzie joined Omidyar Network after completing graduate school. While in school, she served as CEO of the Fletcher Social Investment Group, an organization that provides advisory services to social enterprises and due diligence support to angel and impact investors. She also interned with Edge Growth, where she designed and facilitated workshops for growth-stage South African startups and conducted analysis to support a fund for South African SMEs. McKenzie began her career as a consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers. As a member of the International Public Sector team, she helped public sector and nonprofit clients address challenges related to strategy and growth, organizational design, and large program and project management. She also helped drive business development efforts with US agencies and international organizations focused on market-based solutions for development.
McKenzie received a master of international business from The Fletcher School at Tufts University where she was awarded the Edmund A. Gullion prize, which is given annually to an outstanding second-year student. She also holds a certificate in social impact investing from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies and a bachelor of science in foreign service from Georgetown University.
