Pedro is an associate focused on sourcing and managing Governance & Citizen Engagement grants and investments in Latin America.
Pedro has extensive experience working in advocacy, policy analysis, and citizen engagement around the world. He joined Omidyar Network from Greenpeace, where he led the international Urban Revolution project and political work related to climate change. His previous experiences include work with Oxfam, The Elders, Self Employed Women's Association of India (SEWA), and the Brazil Human Rights Fund, among others. Pedro is also a co-founder of several initiatives focused on strengthening civil society and deepening democracy.
He holds a master's degree with distinction in development studies from the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), University of Sussex, as well as postgraduate degrees in economics and political science, and a bachelor's degree in social communications.
