Common Sense Media provides unbiased and trustworthy information about media and entertainment that helps parents and children make informed choices about the content they consume.

Why We Invested

Common Sense Media provides parents, children, and educators with reviews and advice about the media they consume, from books, movies and TV shows to websites and video games. The San Francisco-based nonprofit leverages the Internet and online discussion forums to improve access to information, bring together educators and parents, and help families make more informed decisions about media.

Common Sense Media operates on the belief that media and entertainment profoundly impact the social, emotional, and physical development of children. The organization provides an independent forum for discussion about the media, as well as advice for parents and workshops for educators based on criteria from child-development experts.
