Why We Invested

Endeavor aims to transform the social and economic landscape of emerging markets through the power of entrepreneurship. Founded in 1997, the global nonprofit supports ambitious entrepreneurs that create high-quality jobs, generate wealth, inspire other entrepreneurs, and attract investors.

Endeavor fills a gap in the private sector of local emerging economies by providing High-Impact Entrepreneurs with the mentoring, financing, and networking opportunities necessary for them to succeed. Endeavor Global, based in New York, has offices in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Egypt, Jordan, Mexico, South Africa, Turkey, and Uruguay.

  • Since 1997, more than 20,000 entrepreneurs have been screened and 476 entrepreneurs selected from 310 companies
  • Endeavor currently supports Entrepreneurs in ten emerging market countries with plans to launch in Peru, Indonesia, and Kenya in 2010
